Malaria is a common diseases mainly found in the tropical and sub-tropical parts. It is mostly caused because of protozoan parasites of the species Plasmodium. Common symptoms of malaria are high fever come with chills, headache and trembling. Malaria can also result in other problems, like kidney failure, anemia and dysentery. But it can be treated by using home remedies. Some easy and effective home remedies for malaria treatment are:
- Holy basil leaves are one of the best remedies for malaria treatment. Either eats few fresh holy basil leaves daily or makes a decoction of them and drinks it.
- Applying a cold pack on the forehead is very advantageous in curing malaria.
- In initial stage of malaria fresh orange juice and water diet is very beneficial in treatment of it.
- Take one tsp of cinnamon powder, one tsp of honey and a bit of pepper powder and add all this in one glass water. Now boil this mixture and drink once it cools down a bit. This is very advantageous remedy for treatment of malaria.
- An Indian herb known as Dhatura is helpful in malaria treatment. Take two and a half freshly sprouted Dhatura leaves of and rub them with jaggery. Make a pill of this mixture and have it daily once.
- Take half glass water and add fresh juice of 1 lemon. Drink this mixture daily once, right from the time of the beginning of fever.
- Bake alum over a warm plate and then make fine powder of it. Take one tsp of powder at time of fever. It is also very beneficial remedy for treatment of malaria.
- Take a small piece of ginger and mix it with about 3 teaspoon raisins. Add this mixture in one glass of water. Boil this mixture until only half of actual quantity is remaining. Cool down the solution and drink it.
- Take 250 ml of water and add about 15 gm Chirayita herb with few cinnamon or cloves. Drink approximately 20 to 30 ml of this mixture daily once, at least for 20 to 25 days.
- Avoid packed, junk, spicy and oily food. It would work to your detriment.
