The feeling of vomiting and nausea, experienced in the period of pregnancy is known as morning sickness. Almost 75 to 80 percent of the pregnant female faces this problem in the first trimester of their pregnancy. Some basic factors of morning sickness are chemical and hormonal changes in the body, hormonal imbalance, sensitivity of gastrointestinal region, deficiency of vitamin B and strong odors senses. The most excellent method to deal with morning sickness would be home remedies. Some effective home remedies for morning sickness treatment include:
- Drink a glass of lemon juice daily early morning in an empty stomach; it is very advantageous in morning sickness treatment.
- During pregnancy, try to have 6 small meals daily, instead of 2 or 3 large ones. This might decrease the cause of morning sickness.
- The easiest method to deal with morning sickness problem would be to have one cup ginger tea in early morning.
- Take a glass of cool water and mix a tablespoon each of honey and apple cider vinegar to it. Drink this mixture daily in morning; it is an effective remedy for morning sickness treatment.
- Prepare a mixture of 1 tsp fresh limejuice, 1/2 tsp ginger juice, 1 tsp honey and 1 tsp mint juice. Consume this mixture daily 3-4 times.
- Mix a teaspoon of mint juice and lime juice with sugar. Have this mixture daily three times. It is an excellent treatment for morning sickness.
- Dissolve some wheat seed it in warm milk. Have it in every one hour. This will be helpful in morning sickness treatment.
- Take out juice of about 25 fresh curry leaves. Now mix this juice with 1 tsp of honey and 2 tsp of fresh limejuice. Have this mixture daily 3-4 times.
- Put 3-4drops of lavender oil and just 1 drop of peppermint in a humidifier. Now the fragrance emit in the room would be helpful in treatment of morning sickness.
- Eat some high protein snack before going to bed. This is an easiest approach to avoid morning sickness.
- Avoid having fried, fatty and spicy foods, as they are difficult to digest and cause vomiting.
- Shortage of vitamin B can also cause morning sickness. So it is good to include salads, vegetables, wheat, bananas, chicken and sea food in your daily diet.
- During pregnancy have food that is rich in protein, calcium and carbohydrates. Drink lots of fluids. Drink large quantity of water and fresh juice. This will maintain body temperature under control and lessen the probability of nausea or vomiting.
