Intestinal worms are parasites which infest beings and are found in all over the world. Human intestinal worms are affecting many people around the world, but they are to be found more frequently in tropical and sub-tropical parts, mainly in rainy seasons.
Usually kids are repeatedly infected by intestinal worms and even in some cases they are infected by different types of worm at a time.
Intestinal worms are found in our gastrointestinal tract and they are feed on the personís body. Mainly these worms infest the intestinal wall of the body and cause lots of health problems. Some types of intestinal worms are visible to the naked eye or are microscopic and require to be seen with the use of a microscope. Hundreds of different types of worms can infect humans, and these worms survive on the nutrients in the body of their host. Worms in a body can cause destruction since these parasite burrows through the intestines, leave pollutant in the body that can destroy the whole system, and they also hold up the nutrients that we want to stay healthy.

It is the most common intestinal worm in humans and mainly originates in drinking water. Giardia inhabit in the smaller intestine and in the gall bladder.
